The new helicopter will be used to gain access to remote regions of Northwest Cameroon. It will serve SIL personnel as well as the personnel of two Baptist hospitals in the Northwest. Now the doctors will be able to serve areas that were inaccessible to them before.

We had a very relaxing few days with my parents in the mountains of Northwest Cameroon. We enjoyed sipping our coffee on chilly mornings and watching the valley below us. Actually, because of the Harmattan (dust from the Sahara in the air), we could barely see the valley. The dust was like a white cloud hanging that won't clear up until March.

Our neighbor across the street has a bakery; this is his oven.

Our hosts in Lolodorf showed gave us a tour of their manioc fields. They explained that they put a curse on certain twisted seed pods so that if thiefs step on one, their back will become just as twisted as the seed pod.
