Flights in the desert

Recently Ray spent a week flying in the high desert in Northern Cameroon. On the hottest day it reached 117 degrees! He saw many animals from the plane - lions, giraffes, countless antelope - but the only ones big enough to show up on a picture taken from that altitude were the elephants. He counted about 250 elephants. He also saw villages in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and the people often all ran out to wave at the plane.
